Lantern Parades

Evenings of 19th and 26th November

Featuring parades of children and staff from schools across Chester, parents, individuals and community groups carrying their many lanterns; all marching through Chester to the Christmas tunes played by a local marching band.

In addition the streets will be filled with street theatre, musicians, and choirs

Santa Dash 

This Christmas why not dress up as Santa and go for a 3 mile run, in aid of a charity. There are lots of different events to chose from, but here are a few

Liverpool Santa Dash - 6th December

Join 'Team Willington' running through the streets of Liverpool, raising money for the Local Tarporley Hospital...and please feel free to sponsor us through the hotels reception.

Oulton Park Santa Dash - 13th December

If you can't race around the famous Oulton Park race curcuit, then put a red suit on and run round it in aid of St Luke's Hospice

The Cheshire Santa Dash, Nantwich - 20th December

In aid of the Sandbach charity, Railway Children. There is the 3 mile (5km) or the fun run of 1.5 miles
